Exciting hackathons and code battles for grade 1-12 kids
Nine unique themes to pick from
Prizes and goodies worth ₹3,00,000 up for grabs
September 29 to December 11
Codingal's National Coding Olympiad (NCO) provides a platform for children to explore coding competitively and apply their coding knowledge to solve problems.
The competition is designed to stimulate the interest of school students in informatics and information technology.
The NCO is a stepping stone for students who want to compete in IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics)—one of the most prestigious computer science competitions in the world.
This track consists of a hackathon where kids will build projects around a problem statement using the programming languages/platforms specified for each grade.
The problem statements will be pre-defined and the students will get time to develop their idea and submit their projects.
Each grade group will have different themes and multiple problem statements. Students can pick the theme and problem statement they are most interested in and develop an animation, app, website or game around the problem statement.
The Code Battle is an online coding competition of 3 hours which will be held on 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, December 11.
Code Battle is a competition where participants can solve the problems using an online code editor. The participants will solve 20 coding problems in 3 hours.
The results of each submission will be displayed in real time and a live leaderboard will be made available for everyone to see.
Anyone who is in Grade 9 to Grade 12 as of April 1, 2021 can take part in the Code Battle.
