Prizes worth 2 lakhs up for grabs!
July 28, 2021 - Sep 8, 2021
The aim of National Coding Olympiad is to provide a platform to children in Grade 1-12 to explore coding competitively and apply their coding knowledge to problem statements.
Through this competition we also want to stimulate the interest of school students in informatics and information technology.
NCO 2021 can also be considered as a stepping stone for all those who want to ultimately compete in IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics), one of the most prestigious computer science competitions in the world.
The National Coding Olympiad 2021 has 2 tracks
This track consists of a hackathon where kids will build projects around a problem statement using the programming languages/platforms specified for each grade.
The problem statements will be pre-defined and the students will get time to develop their idea and submit their projects.
Each grade group will have different themes and multiple problem statements. Students can pick the theme and problem statement they are most interested in and develop an animation, app, website or game around the problem statement.
The Code Battle is a online coding competition of 3 hours which will be held on July 17, 2021.
Code Battle is a competition where participants can solve the problems using an online code editor. The participants will solve 20 coding problems in 3 hours.
The results of each submission will be displayed in realtime and a live leaderboard will be made available for everyone to see.
This Code battle is eligible for everyone who is in Grade 9-12 as of April 1, 2021.
